Last Hoorah Before Brother Comes

Paxton is home! He got here Wednesday night! Oh, hes SO big! Ive missed him! We had a blast before i was scheduled for delivery on Sunday! i did not follow drs orders on bed rest.. oops. Thursday, Brian Durr came into town! Then we shopped for some last minute things. Brian also took Pax to ToysR'Us for a gift and some boy time! Friday, we went to Provo Beach Resort to let Pax have some fun. Then after, we went and ate at Tucanos for lunch since Marc had a birthday voucher. Then we went home. I was exhausted! Saturday, my in-laws came to town! So we ate at Texas Roadhouse on Saturday night to celebrate Wayne and Marc's birthday. Then we went back to our house and opened presents and hung out till about 10:30pm... Bad idea since i was delivering the next morning!! We didnt document with many pictures, darn it. But we did get a couple here and there.

Me and my cousin Nikki Saturday morning. Her due date was the 11th and my due date wasnt till the 30th! We thought she would have Elijah before i had Maddox! Buuuuut thats not how it went!

My Last Appointment!

Well I had my last appt and everything was the same. No new news. I had my last NST and all was well with that too. My doctor called and booked the Operating Room for my delivery! By the time i deliver, on Sunday March 10th, i will be 37 weeks!

WE MADE IT TO 37 WEEKS!!!!

Im so excited that my body was able to wait for almost 7 weeks! Its a miracle. We were all so sure that i would go early. I guess bed rest was very important.... now in hindsight! haha.

36 Week Appt

Yesterday, i had my NST and Ultrasound and we had a quick check-up. She usually does them the Tuesday the next week, but she wanted to do it today instead and will do another one next Tuesday. So i had my ultrasound first. Baby Maddox is measuring 2 weeks ahead. He weighs about 6 lbs 12 oz which is a HUGE increase from the week before where he was about 5 lbs 9 oz. My AFI fluids was a 13. Still good. And he has a TON more hair then last week's appt. Unfortunately, we couldn't get any good face pictures since he's head down. But we were able to check is heart and body and that works for me! After the ultrasound, i did my NST. This time was A LOT better then last! He had a base heart rate in the 130's and had about 3 good accelerations to the 170's. So he is A-ok! After that, we went into the room and did a check-up. I am measuring a week and a half early still. We talked about how i'm feeling and my symptoms. The only thing that has changed is the pressure im feeling on my c-section scar. IT HURTS SO BAD! I lotion it and oil it like twice a day but still... its not helping. i cant see it but Marc and my doc said it was stretching wider and that it is puffy and purple. Attractive, i know! She said being on bed rest should take a lot of the pressure off, which it does but as soon as i stand up to go pee, or walk upstairs, or go grab something from the kitchen, i feel like its gonna bust open! She assured me it wouldn't. But to limit myself getting up more.

So ya. Other then that, my preeclampsia is the same. i AM SO HAPPY that it has not progressed severely yet. i am swelling still :( UGH. My BP is definitely raising higher but a consistent higher. If i had excess protein in my urine, she would have already delivered the baby. But again, bed rest seems to be helping to keep that down! Now i see her on Tuesday the 5th, and unless my protein in my urine is really high or the NST doesn't go well, or if my BP gets higher, then the baby will be here sooner. But as of now, we are pretty sure it will be the 10th! YAY! AND if my appt Tuesday goes well, then i wont need to see her on Friday for another NST and ultrasound! Ill just see her Sunday morning when we go in for the Delivery!!! I haven't had a once a week appt since i was 28 weeks!!

Update on the MOVE!

Marc has officially accepted a start date for his job! Its March 18th. We are so excited about this next chapter of our lives! The only bummer to that start date is that Marc will only get to spend 5 days with the baby, Paxton and i before he has to leave. The baby will only be 5 days old (assuming i go till March 10th). And he wont come back until March 29th. He will fly into Provo that Friday night and we (him & others) will load up the Uhaul, and we will leave Utah Saturday the 30th! Its gonna be crazy with me only being 2 weeks out from surgery. Im nervous for that drive with a newborn, a toddler and my sore body. We'll see how it goes. Gives me anxiety thinking about it!!

Since January, we have been looking at houses to buy down in the Phoenix area. It has been such a struggle. Oy vey! But we have a new realtor and he is awesome! We are actually putting our first bid on a house today and hopefully all goes well! If we can get into it by the end of the month, then Marc will drive the Uhaul and i will drive the packed car to Arizona and start settling in. If we dont get it, or another house by then, then we will drive the Uhaul and the car to Cali, and store our stuff at Marc's dads hanger, i will stay with my parents for a bit, Marc will go back to AZ and we will continue to look for a house. It sucks just thinking about being away from Marc but ya gotta do what ya gotta do unfortunately. Boo hoo. And we do NOT want to rent. So ya, thats the general plan on the move. Hopefully this house will go through. We are confident with our realtor and so glad we have him!! (Thanks Lauren for the referral!!)

35 Week Appt

Yesterday i had my 35 week appt. I went straight in to do an NST rather then getting my routine check-up. We couldnt get a base heart rate for the baby so i ended up being on the NST for over an hour. His heart rate would go up and down from the 125's to the 180's. Crazy. After that, we talked about my symptoms and checked my BP which was awesome at 125/85! It hasnt been that low my whole pregnancy!! I did gain 5 lbs in less then a week :( And it is from swelling. Nothing much we can do because i eat really healthy. Im so upset about it though. UGH! Because of the baby's fluctuating heart rate and my weight gain, my dr wants another ultrasound on Friday to check my fluids again. She wants to see if my amniotic fluid is lower which might be causing babys heart rate to never have a resting point or if my weight gain is fluid which having too much fluid can be harmful for the baby, again might be causing baby's heart rate to never have a resting point. So we will know more on Friday. We will again check baby's weight too. We arent doing another urine collection!!! YAY! So that was great news! But ya, thats how the appt went.

D-Day in 11 days!!

I have been searching and searching for matching shirts like this for awhile. In fact, ever since i found out we were having another boy. I either couldnt get them in the sizes i needed or they didnt match, or they were ugly. So i was just going to make my own with Adobe, like ive done before but low and behold, i found these..... TOGETHER! And i had a coupon and another coupon that was free cash! So i took a cheat day, went to the store, bought them and came back home to my dungeon. i paid like 5 bucks for both! Heck of a steal! I cant wait to see the boys in them!!!!
