Halloween 2012

This year for Halloween, we procrastinated as always and i was stuck sewing our costumes an hour before our church Halloween party. They came together pretty good considering the amount of time i had. I dont know why i wait till the last minute.... Oy vey! Anywho, our ward party went good.

Then on Halloween, we went to our friends house, The Sistrunks and we had dinner with another couple, The Penrods and their daughter and then we went trick-or-treating.
It was freezing so we had to revamp Bam-Bam's costume

Cornbelly's Pumpkin Patch

We had a free night as a whole family so we decided to head up to Cornbelly's Pumpkin Patch at Thanksgiving Point. We didnt go last year, i dont remember why but man, i love that place! We went on a tractor hay ride, bought some pumpkins, played in the kid area and We took a ton of pictures but i didnt put all of them on here. Here's a couple from it.

We went through it pretty fast because Marc had a night flight he had to get back to the airport to do. So we had about an hour and a half. We hit up Taco Tuesday at Del Taco afterwards! Such a fun family night!

A Little Irritated....

So as im trying to catch up on my blogging, i go to add pictures to my post and it tells me that i have "exceeded my amount"...... AND that i have to purchase more KB... I can post all i want but i cant add any pictures. All my fellow blogpals, how do you get around this? Do you buy extra storage? HELP!!

Scrumptious Chicken Tacos/Burritos!!

So i came across a wonderful pin on pinterest and my mouth started salivating. Seriously. Ill just blame it on the pregnancy. SO i decided to tackle it. It was easy peasy. Here is the Blog!! You can see a picture there because, i sure didnt take a picture!! And if you didnt want to go to the blog then here it is with my changes!!

Scrumptious Chicken Ranch Tacos/Burritos!!

3 breasts of cooked chicken, cubed
1 pckt chicken taco seasoning (I used Chicken Tinga Seasoning by McCormick: gives more of a kick!)
1/2-1 cup ranch
------------------
And the fixings:flour tortillas or hard taco shells
cheese
lettuce
tomatoes
ranch

Boil the chicken breasts and cube them. Heat a skillet over medium/high heat and throw in the cubed chicken. Sprinkle the chicken taco seasoning on the chicken. Just the dry packet. DO NOT ADD THE WATER!!! Stir it into the chicken and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Then throw in some ranch. And let it heat up. I warmed up some flour tortillas, layered my chicken, cheese, lettuce and more ranch and folded it in a burrito.... YUM YUM YUM!! Definitely making this again!

Baby Harrison #2 is a ........

BOY!!

Yesterday we had a last minute ultrasound and luckily, we were able to find out the gender! We were so excited! We thought it was going to be strictly business during the ultrasound, to check my placenta. (i'll explain in a few) But she asked us if we'd like to know the gender if we can tell and of course, we said yes!
At my appointment on Tuesday, the 23rd, my dr was worried that i had a placenta rupture. I woke up with a little bit of blood coming out and for the last 3 weeks, ive had SO much pressure in my lower abdomen along with sharp pains. There was no way to check at my appointment on Tuesday because the ultrasound tech was out of the office. So we rescheduled it the next morning and i was put on bed rest until that appointment. I HATE BED REST!! Seriously. Theres nothing worse. Luckily, we have some great friends and one of them brought us dinner and gave me a blessing (alongside my husband) It was amazing. So thankful for my worthy priesthood holder in my home. Anywho, we went in for the ultrasound and found NO tear! Thank goodness! We did find out that my placenta is really low, about 1 cm away from my cervix. She thinks it probably irritated my cervix a bit, causing it to bleed. She said, if it was any lower then we'd have some problems but luckily the placenta will only get higher and not lower! Also, the baby is breech. Which isnt something to worry about since im having another c-section anyways, but that too, is another reason why im having so much pressure down there. All in all, it was a good visit! Dont have a UTI,Baby is healthy, i am healthy and we have no serious problems! THANK GOODNESS! My dr did say that i am a little underweight.... UNDERWEIGHT! That was music to my ears considering how fat i was my last pregnancy!! haha. Ive only gained 5 pounds! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!
Pax was with us when we did the ultrasound. He loves going to my appointments caus the can "see the baby". After the appointment, i said, "are you so excited for your baby brother?" And he goes, "no, no baby brother... Baby sister!" SOOOOO we have a little bit of work cut out for us in changing his mind set! haha.
We are so excited and cant wait to meet this little one!!

Baby Harrison #2 Is On The Way!

Happy twelve weeks to me!!!
Done with the first trimester! This pregnancy has been SO much easier then Paxton's pregnancy! I was nauseous with him 24/7 and could hardly talk because i felt like i was on the verge of throwing up. YUCK. And i threw up quite a bit. BUT this pregnancy, its been a walk in the park for the most part. Hardly nauseous and ive only thrown up twice! The bummer to this pregnancy is that my eyes have changed again... bad. I cant even wear my contacts because i cant see out of them. So since my glasses are higher prescription, they seem to be working! wonderful four eyes! BARF! So gotta get those bad boys checked out. But ya... we are pregnant. Pax is SO excited to have his "baby sister"... hopefully he doesnt jinx it! He WILL NOT say "baby brother" ... dont know why! We are wanting a girl but of course will be happy with either.

My due date is March 31. Since i had a high risk pregnancy last time, my doctor is keeping an eye on me. She will for sure do a c-section induction 2 weeks before my due date OR at least 4 weeks before my due date again if i get preeclampsia again. Fingers crossed i wont. But time will tell and we'll know for sure as the time gets closer when Baby Harrison #2 will make his or her debut! My next appointment is Sept 20... my birthday and then we will schedule the anatomy ultrasound for October! Cant wait!

We found out Thursday, July 26th that we were pregnant. We were on our Harrison San Clemente trip and we were in charge of getting ice at the store that morning. So we went and i bought a pregnancy test... We hurried back and i peed in a Red Solo Cup and dipped it in the cup... We were sleeping in a tent!! And our family members had their RV's there but i didnt want ANYONE to see... I hurried and took it... Threw my cup away and went back into the tent... I laid it down so i couldnt see the result window and i waited for Marc to get back from giving all the family their ice... Well after waiting FOR-EVER.... i looked... Low and behold, i was pregnant!!!! I balled immediately and in walks Marc! I showed him and he too was excited! No tears, of course but AHHHH!! Ill never forget that feeling! We werent necessarily trying but we werent avoiding it either. i took a few tests prior to this because i felt pregnant and i had a missed period, but they were all negative. I got the IUD out at the end of March.. We werent trying in April but kinda tried in May, took a test in June... wasnt pregnant and after taking the test in June, we looked to see when i would be ovulating and tada. It worked because i was pregnant the next month! This is a little TMI, but its my little journal and i want to remember this :) It was so hard to hide our excitement from our family but we did! It also explained why ive been craving those ranch packets that you mix into sour cream... I went through about 5 or 6 that week at the beach! haha. The rest of that day, we laid on the beach ALLLL day! It was perfect and i was so happy!!

Me and my pudge at 9 weeks. We were in Vegas at our friends time share! We went to Lake Mead for the weekend. We told our friends Jaron and Melissa Duke and i told my 2nd family, The Searles!
Our 2nd ultrasound was done at 10 weeks! Here is the little nut! Our first ultrasound was done at about 8 weeks but we couldnt see the baby clearly and my dr was pressed for time with another patient....  i asked my dr "theres only one right?" and she said "i can't for certainty tell you yes or no.... we will check in two weeks." So for those 2 weeks, i was wondering if there were 2 babies or not! Haha.. But low and behold, there is only 1!!
This is how we told our siblings and other family members!! We told them 2 days before i hit the 12 week mark
